What is Torque Arm?

Torque arm is the machine consists of torque reaction arm, which absorb and transfer the reaction of torque generated during operation. This machine comes with a variety of tools such as bolt tightening, tapping operation, etc.

Torque Arms are available in various versions, Jaycee specializes in Pillar type (or Floor Mounted) torque arms. We also manufacture the overhead type torque arms, where machine is mounted on the structure over the production lines. It helps to boost the production process by increase in the speed of operation.

Pillar type machine mounted on base plate/ floor, it consists of Base Pillar, Main Boom, Middle Bracket, Front Boom, Front Bracket, Torque Arm, etc. Torque arm unit is assembled with the front bracket, which includes tool bracket Up and Down movement with the help of pneumatic cylinder fitted parallel to torque arm.

Pillar mounted torque arm machine generally used for bolt tightening over working areas where personnel are restricted to work. Torque arm is Mechanical, Pneumatic and programmed powered and controlled. Operator can move the torque arm in its working envelope easily by operating air switches and also can reduce the radius of working envelope by applying brakes.
