industrial manipulators

Introduction

Jaycee design and manufacture Industrial Manipulators for various repetitive material handling pick and place applications. Jaycee provides various types of industrial manipulators for wide range of industries including Agricultural, Food, Automotive, Foundry industry and many more.

Description

What is Industrial Manipulator?

Industrial manipulators are machines which are used to control, handle or lift the material without making direct physical contact. Manipulator has a mechanical arm which can move in horizontal and vertical directions. As per the industrial need customized grippers & end effectors are manufacture and attach with manipulators.

Types of Industrial Manipulators:
  • Pillar mounted type (Capacity 1 Ton)
  • Pallet mounted type (Capacity 1 Ton)
  • Overhead trolley type (Capacity 1 Ton)
  • Overhead fixed type (Capacity 1 Ton)

The main difference between Pillar and Pallet mount manipulators is the pillar or floor manipulators are bolted on fixed support base on floor, and Pallet manipulators are fixed on pallets and can move anywhere with the help of pallet trolley. Overhead manipulators are mainly classified into two types i.e. Overhead Fixed and Overhead Trolley type. As the name suggests overhead trolley manipulators can move in multi-axis as per the need.

Jaycee Manipulators help industries to become more efficient by allowing one employee do the same lifting task that previously took two or more people to accomplish. Regulations recommend that no employee should lift any product over 20 kg and bend, twist or reach with it over 30 inches.

Jaycee Manipulators allow you to meet Standards and allow your company to replace ineffective equipment such as hoist, cranes, etc. with a safer, more ergonomic solution.

Perhaps the most important reason to use a Jaycee Manipulators is to protect yourself and your employees.

Nearly half of all reported industrial injuries involve back strain, stress, or injury. These results in over lakhs of Rupees a year in workers' compensation costs to the Employers due to:

  • Lost Production Time- Average 14 days per injury
  • Medical Costs
  • Sick Leave
  • Workers’ compensation costs
  • Loss of employee productivity and efficiency
  • Cost of rehiring and retaining employees
  • Delays in production and product shipment
  • Product damage costs

HANDLING ON ASSEMBLY LINE

The assembly line is a manufacturing process in which interchangeable parts are sequentially added to the product in order to produce the final product. In most cases, the production assembly line is a semi-automated system through which the product moves. Some involved in the production process takes place at each station along the line.

Jaycee delivers the industry specific handling equipment to improvise the assembly line operations. We design the customized manipulators for handling of material on assembly lines. Our manipulators help to optimize the frequent pick and place operations during manufacturing processes.
